Meet Isaiah Saynte; son of a retired Bishop, ex-Police Officer-turned-Private Detective.

 

When the paedophile/child-killer he spent his last years on the force tracking down is unexpectedly acquitted, Saynte knows it will be only a matter of time before he offends again.

In the meantime, working with his former colleagues to find a killer of a different kind, he finds himself drawn to the now deconsecrated ruin of his father's former church.
